Sheila Stanton is a native Detroiter who graduated from Detroit’s Central High School. She is a twenty-five-year veteran of the banking industry, earning titles such as executive level business banker, manager, and personal payday representative. Her expertise in the financial banking areas consistently placed her among top performers earning numerous accolades, awards, and trip incentives. Ms. Stanton holds Master Degrees in Business Administration and Human Services. In 2013, she became an avid community activist via New York Life volunteering at local community functions such as: The Ronald McDonald House, Jalen Rose Academy, Greg Kelser Foundation, and Gleaners Food Bank. Ms. Stanton’s zeal to enrich and enhance the lives of young adults led to her being appointed to the Board of Directors for the WAY ACADEMY in Detroit Michigan, one of the first visionary fully functional Online High Schools in the state of Michigan.

Currently, this dynamic trailblazer lends her talents to Smart Business Tax Solutions. Since 2015, Sheila has taken our administrative services department to another level. She quickly began ‘running things’ and was elevated to Business Manager. Her responsibilities range from chief financial auditor for the reconciliation of current contractual obligations for existing clients to drafting comprehensive recoupment liquidation portfolios for clients who need ‘special’ payment arrangements. In addition, she is the senior point of contact for scheduling and client reclamation based on independent research and document verification. Ms. Stanton is also in charge of preparing and inputting payroll, drafting clients’ IRS payment plans, and submitting documentation for individuals needing Power of Attorney documents, as well as, serving as a certified Notary Public.
